Precise fabric handling, Brother's square feed drive system allows for extra grip and smoother feeding, the feed system creates superior stitch quality and smooth pinpoint seams on any weight of fabric, from sheer silk to heavy denim. Needle up or down position, needle always stops in the highest up position when your foot is lifted from the controller. When removing the fabric from the machine, it is easier if the needle is raised to highest position. Press the needle lift button when needed, the machine will always stop with the needle in the cloth, allowing perfect positioning of fabric for many sewing jobs.
